Massive shutdown of cold water was canceled in Krasnoyarsk

Krasnoyarsk has decided not to carry out a large-scale shutdown of cold water this summer. The planned work on the main water intakes has already been carried out, and the schedule for the summer repair campaign has been adjusted.

According to the KrasnoyarskMedia news agency, with reference to the KrasKom company, this year prevention was carried out at four of the seven city water intakes. Due to this, simultaneous shutdown of cold and hot water in most areas of Krasnoyarsk is not expected.

The water supply will be completely stopped only at the Gremyachy Log water intakes, Nizhny Atamanovsky and Kazachy islands. This is necessary to replace the equipment.

The work of the Nizhny Atamanovsky Island water intake will be suspended on the night of May 29-30. The water supply will be restored earlier than planned, on the evening of May 30.

From 7 to 9 August, cold water will be turned off in the Oktyabrsky district, parts of the Zheleznodorozhny district, in the residential districts of SVEM, Afghantsev, Slavyansky, Nova Land, Chamonix, Solontsy village and Minino village.

Earlier it was reported that in Krasnoyarsk, traffic was restricted on several bridges until 23:00 on October 31. Inconveniences are associated with the repair of structures.
