SKM M7 light commercial vehicles have started to arrive in the Lada Business dealer network. In particular, the novelty appeared in car dealerships in St. Petersburg, the analytical agency Autostat reported on May 29.

Alexander Shaprinsky, commercial director of the Pragmatika dealership chain, estimates that vans will account for 80% of SKM M7 sales, while minivans will account for the rest. This is due to the high demand for vans from the corporate segment.

At the same time, corporate clients (small and medium-sized businesses) will occupy 75% of the model's sales structure, he believes. Another 15% will go to retail customers (families who require spacious transportation), and 10% will go to government purchases.

The specialist pointed out that the main competitors of the SKM M7 will be commercial vehicles of the Sollers group, and the M7 may become one of the three best-selling models among light commercial vehicles (LCVs).

Shipments of the SKM M7 to dealers started in mid-May. The recommended retail price of the new product starts from 2.86 million rubles. The model is based on SRM brand cars from the Chinese manufacturer Shineray. Large-scale assembly of machines is carried out at a subsidiary of VIS-Avto.

Earlier, on May 26, it became known that the SKM brand line from AvtoVAZ will soon be replenished with the new M9 model. It is planned to be produced at production sites in Nizhny Novgorod and Tolyatti. The model will be presented in four versions: a seven- and eight-seater minivan, a nine-seater minibus and a van. Sales are expected to begin in September.
