Medialogia has published a rating of the most popular TV series for April 2026

On May 29, Medialogia presented the top 30 Russian series ratings for April 2026. The series "Molodezhka" became the leader (2,057 points). For the first time since January, the rating was topped by a Russian project.

The top five also included the TV series "The Boys" (2,013 points), "Magic Battle" (1,839 points), "Daddy's Daughters" (1,788 points) and "Univer" (1,682 points).

In total, 29 TV series (93.9% of the index) and one anime (6.1%) were included in the rating by type of content. In April, franchises and sequels starting before 2025 accounted for 73.3%, while the 2025-2026 premieres accounted for 26.7%. Among the premieres of 2026 in the top 30 were "Prints", "Rooks", "Warm wind from the north", "Shores of Love" and "Night".

Medialogia emphasized that the main trend in April was nostalgic restarts and the return of archived franchises, which showed the greatest growth relative to March. There has also been a return of major foreign projects. So, the rating includes "Boys" and "Euphoria", which were absent from the top of the first quarter.

"The share of Russian content increased from 62.7% to 66.7%. The main movements within the rating took place precisely in the Russian segment: the old franchises replaced the March premieres. The share of foreign content dropped by several percent (from 37.3% to 33.3%). The animation segment also reduced its presence in the rating: of the two anime presented in the March top 30, only "Magic Battle" retained its position in the April rating, while "Hell's Paradise" did not enter it," the company emphasized.

Producer Maxim Korolev said on March 24 that the rating would make it easier for content producers to understand the viewer's request. He also noted the success of the series "Sled", which entered the top 100 most popular series of 2025 and took third place.

Vladislav Stratonnikov, the company's product development manager, said at the same time that Medialogia was working at the intersection of information technology and communications, monitoring more than 100,000 media outlets and more than 3 billion social media accounts daily and around the clock.
