Celebrations in honor of the national holiday of Ysyakh will be held in Yakutia
Yakutia has approved the calendar of Ysyakh, a national holiday. The celebrations will start on June 12 and last until July 5.
The schedule of events was published by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic. It has been compiled taking into account the climatic features and local traditions.
Ysyakh will be the first to be celebrated in the southern regions of the region, in Aldan and Neryungrinsky. The events in the Arctic zone will be completed. On July 4-5, the Ysyakh Olonkho will be held in the village of Kobyai. It will open the third Decade of Olonkho.
The main event will be Ysyakh Tuymaady. It is scheduled for June 27-28 and will be held in the area of Us Khatyn, writes IA YakutiaMedia.
Earlier it was reported that by the end of 2025, the tourist flow to Yakutia increased to 284 thousand people. In 2024, it reached 264 thousand people. In the republic, the development of the tourism industry is carried out within the framework of the national project "Tourism and Hospitality" and the strategic decree of the head of the region, Aisen Nikolaev, "On the development of local production and tourism." Comprehensive development of the tourist infrastructure, promotion of the unique tourism potential of Yakutia and improvement of the quality of service are provided.
