Peskov welcomed Uzbekistan's interest in the EAEU

All member countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) welcome Uzbekistan's interest in unification and hope for closer integration. This was announced on May 29 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"All participating countries welcome Uzbekistan's interest — this is a very, very positive interest for the EAEU. We hope that Uzbekistan will not lose this interest and, on the contrary, will think about closer rapprochement with the EAEU, because this is a mutually beneficial process," he said.
