In the Khabarovsk Territory, measures are being taken in some areas to regulate the number of bears. In just six days, there were six conflict situations with these predators.

According to IA AmurMedia with reference to the Department of hunting of the regional government, on May 22, a brown bear was spotted on the street of the Lososina work settlement in the Sovetsko-Gavansky municipal district. On the same day, a Himalayan bear was seen on the territory of a military unit in the Khabarovsk municipal district.

On May 24, a bear with three cubs appeared in the vicinity of the village of Nizhnetambovskoye, Komsomolsk Municipal District. And on May 26, a brown bear was spotted at the cemetery of the city of Sovetskaya Gavan. Cemetery workers discovered a grave dug by a bear and human remains.

On May 27, a brown bear was seen in the village of Vyatskoye, Khabarovsk Municipal District. On the same day, the brown bear reappeared in the Lososina work settlement of the Sovetsko-Gavansky municipal district.

Earlier, on May 25, it was reported that in the Primorsky Territory, in the village of Terney, hunters shot a bear. The predator walked the streets of the village for several days and scared the residents. According to preliminary data, the bear could have come out to people because of the work on laying power lines in the clearing area. His habitual habitat was disrupted by the noise of machinery and the felling of trees.
