Russians were informed about early payment of pensions in June due to Russia Day

Pension payments in June will be transferred ahead of schedule — on June 11 — in connection with the celebration of Russia Day. In addition, the payment dates for the weekends of June 20-21 and 27-28 will change, while the schedule for the transfer of child benefits will remain unchanged. This was announced on May 29 by State Duma deputy Alexei Govyrin (United Russia).

"Russia Day in 2026 falls on Friday, June 12, so the weekend will last for three days and will last inclusive until June 14. This circumstance directly affects the procedure for transferring pensions and social benefits, since according to the norms of Russian legislation, if the payment date coincides with a non—working holiday or weekend, funds are credited in advance, on the last working day before such a period," he said.RIA Novosti.

He noted that it would not be necessary to apply to the Social Fund, since the transfer of payments would occur automatically. According to the MP, the funds will be transferred to citizens whose pension dates fall on June 6-7 on June 5, and payments for June 12-14 will be received on June 11.

In addition, payments due on the weekend of June 20-21 and 27-28 will be transferred in advance — on June 19 and 26, respectively. Govyrin stressed that the amount of payments will not change, only the dates of enrollment will be adjusted.

The MP also said that the schedule of child benefits will remain unchanged. Payments for children under 17, child care benefits and a number of other charges will be received in early June on regular business days.

Social pensions will be indexed in Russia: the amount and date of increase have been announced

The increase in social pensions from April will affect the disabled, children with disabilities and citizens without insurance experience.

Alexander Safonov, a professor at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, recalled on May 29 that in June 2026 pensions would automatically be increased for two categories of citizens — Russians who turned 80 years old, as well as those who received disability group I. According to him, a doubling of the fixed payment to the insurance pension is provided for such pensioners.
