On May 28, Russia's Permanent Representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzia, commented on a new speech by the Ukrainian permanent representative to the UN, Andrei Melnyk, using the saying "a thief's hat is on fire," his words are quoted by the permanent mission's website.
"The Ukrainian permanent representative loves Russian sayings, and I will also allow myself to use one. It all looked like the Russian saying "a thief's hat is on fire," the Russian diplomat said.
