On May 28, the players of the Russian national football team were awarded silver medals at the end of a friendly match with the Egyptian team.

The match at the stadium in Cairo ended with a 1-0 victory for the hosts.

"The national team has two more games scheduled for June. Russia will play against Burkina Faso in Volgograd on June 5, and against Trinidad and Tobago in Kaliningrad on June 9," Sport-Express notes.
