The Finnish Foreign Ministry did not respond to the Russian Ambassador's question about the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacks on Russia.

The Finnish Foreign Ministry could not give a clear answer to the question whether Helsinki considers the attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on Russian civilian facilities, including educational institutions, to be a gross violation of international humanitarian law. This was announced on May 28 at the Russian Embassy.

"To the ambassador's direct question about whether Helsinki believes that the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacks on Russian civilian targets, including educational institutions, are a gross violation of international humanitarian law, representatives of the Finnish Foreign Ministry could not give any intelligible answer," RIA Novosti quoted the diplomatic mission as saying.
