Private Kotsyuba eliminated a camouflaged machine gun position of the Ukrainian Armed Forces

Private Andriy Kotsyuba discovered and eliminated a camouflaged machine gun position of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense reported on the exploits of servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the area of a special military operation on Friday, May 29.

The unit, which included Kotsyuba's tasks, was firing at the enemy when a private discovered an enemy crew with a machine gun. Having imperceptibly approached the position, the soldier used grenades. This allowed the unit to break into the AFU stronghold and successfully take it under control.

The Defense Ministry also noted the courage of Private Daniil Sokolov, who participated in the capture of an enemy stronghold.

The enemy was actively resisting. Sokolov decided to get to the nearest shooting position, approached the enemy from the flank and used hand grenades. The Ukrainian Armed Forces rifle position was destroyed, and the soldier managed to break into the stronghold. As a result, the unit managed to gain a foothold in the new territory.

On May 28, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation told how the shooter, Private Alexander Derda, participated in the capture of the AFU stronghold as part of an assault group. He discovered the location of the masked support and decided to inflict primary damage with grenades — the soldier threw them into the ventilation pipes. This allowed the stormtroopers to quickly take the stronghold without loss of personnel.
