Cartoon "Three cats. Winter Holidays" from the National Media Group (NMG) received the Internet Development Institute (IRI) Award on May 28.

The NMG project was recognized as the best in the Animation Content category. It has already become the second full-length animated film about the characters of the popular animated series.

"The National Media Group was indeed the first to pave the way for socially significant content, those who raised the topics of socially significant content in creativity and art. And in fact, we are very happy that the whole industry has followed us. And secondly, what is, of course, very important is that we have set this trend, this fashion in a good way, to do projects that help with TV series and movies," said Svetlana Balanova, CEO of NMG.

A total of 75 projects were included in the shortlist of the national award. The IRI Award supports talented authors working in the field of digital content.

On May 25, NMG also announced the launch of a new original series in the genre of short vertical content. Microdrama "The Twins. The struggle for the heir", as well as the previously released TV series "Pregnant by an oligarch", "Boss for one night" and "Goal right in the heart", will be exclusive to the Storys platform. The melodrama of 64 short episodes tells about the unusual fate of the sisters. Dasha finds a twin and persuades her to seduce a rich heir in order to free herself from the captivity of despotic guardians.
