The case of fraud in the repair of heating systems in Tyumen was brought to court

In Tyumen, the investigation of a criminal case on fraud for 24 million rubles during the repair of heating systems has been completed. This is reported by the regional prosecutor's office.

The person involved in the case is the 57-year-old head of a construction company, with whom, from 2020 to 2025, 19 contracts were concluded for the overhaul of heating systems, including in budgetary institutions. At the same time, the director entered fictitious information in the documents about the alleged costs incurred for the disposal of construction debris in third-party special organizations.

In fact, there were no contracts with regional operators for waste disposal. However, the construction company that provided the forged documents was compensated in the amount of over 24 million rubles, of which about 5 million were budget funds.

A criminal case is currently being investigated under Parts 3.4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code, Part 3 of Article 30, Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code ("Fraud committed by a person using his official position, on a large and especially large scale, and attempted fraud using his official position on a particularly large scale") completed.

During the investigation, the damage was fully compensated, and the property of the accused was seized, writes the news agency " <url>". The case materials were transferred to the Kalininsky District Court of Tyumen for consideration on the merits.
