The Latvian Parliament has approved the new government of the country

The Parliament (Seimas) of Latvia has approved the new composition of the Cabinet of Ministers, formed by four parties under the leadership of Andris Kulbergs (the United List party). The new coalition has 66 votes in the Seimas. The largest faction is the New Unity, which includes 25 deputies. The Union of Greens and Peasants (NWK) will take 16 seats, the United List will have 13 seats, and the National Association will be represented by 12 deputies.

The Kulbergs government became the 23rd in a row after the restoration of Latvia's independence. The new cabinet will also include four ministers from the previous cabinet.
