He drew attention to the paradox: people are willing to spend large sums on psychics, because they promise quick and "magical" solutions, while the help of a psychologist is less trustworthy, because it is associated with the need to work with reality and experience complex emotions.

The specialist explained that psychics support faith in miracles, while psychologists help turn this hope into real actions. At the same time, he stressed that the attitude of the specialists themselves plays an important role: if the work is carried out coldly or distantly, a person can return to the search for a "quick rescue."

The expert added that the situation can be changed through an open conversation about mental health. In his opinion, contacting a psychologist should be perceived as normal self-care, and not as a sign of weakness. He stressed that the culture of silence disappears where people can openly talk about their experiences and receive support without condemnation.
