Luxury car brand Aurus will present two new items at the SPIEF

As part of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) this year, the Aurus luxury brand will present two updated models, the Senat and the Senat Long. This was reported on May 28 by Rossiyskaya Gazeta with reference to the company's press service.

The updated Aurus Senat was first shown in 2024, the model was used during the inauguration of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The presentation of the production model in a new look will take place at SPIEF 2026, the sedan has undergone a deep modernization.

In particular, the changes are aimed at improving the efficiency of the braking system, suspension, fuel supply system and automatic transmission. The body has acquired new expressive elements, and the interior uses fresh digital and electronic solutions.

The second novelty of the brand, shown at the SPIEF, will be the updated Aurus Senat Long, and such a model has not been demonstrated to the general public before. According to representatives of the company, the key difference of the long version lies in the body design: engineers abandoned the central insert between the front and rear doors, which gives the car a smooth silhouette and increases the convenience of landing in the back row.

Last year, Aurus brought to the SPIEF a large Arsenal minivan, which is close to the production version (now this model is used only in a government garage for special purposes) and a Komendant crossover, which is armored according to the Br4 protection classification.

Earlier, on May 20, it was reported that AvtoVAZ will organize a street exhibition of historical, new and sports cars as part of the SPIEF. One of them will be the Lada Niva Legend SUV, which has received significant technical and ergonomic improvements.
