Lada Vesta cars will appear in carsharing
AvtoVAZ has started supplying Lada Vesta cars for carsharing, and 165 sedans will join Delimobil's Moscow fleet in the coming months. This is stated in the message of the press service of the domestic automaker, which was received by Izvestia on May 28.
Lada Vesta sedans in the "Praktik" configuration will be presented in carsharing. The cars are equipped with a 106-horsepower engine coupled with a CVT. There is a stability control system, an anti-lock braking system with a brake force distribution, an assist system when starting on an ascent and other driving assistants.
Vesta carsharing vehicles are also equipped with the Lada EnjoY multimedia system with a seven-inch display with a PlayAuto projection solution and support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto protocols. The software package includes online and offline navigation, contactless refueling, a voice assistant and a music player.
On March 23, AvtoVAZ announced the launch of a long-term subscription program for Lada cars. The service was named Lada Easily. At first, only the Lada Vesta sedan with a 1.6-liter engine and an automatic transmission in the Praktik configuration is available for rent. The monthly payment for such a Lada Vesta is 43,990 rubles.
As reported on March 12, Delimobil carsharing extended the car's service life to eight to nine years. The car operates in Moscow for the first four years, and then goes to the regions, explained Natalia Borisova, the company's chief financial officer.
