Lavrov responded to Pashinyan's statement about Armenia's future wealth

On May 28, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov commented on Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's statement that the country would "get rich" despite the possible deterioration of relations with Russia.

Earlier, Pashinyan said at an election campaign that the Armenian authorities are not afraid of rising commodity prices in the event of a deterioration in relations with Russia, as they expect to turn the country into a "crossroads of the world" and get rich.

"I cannot comment on the statements of the Armenian leader. If he thinks that she will get richer, let her provide," Lavrov said in an interview with the Vesti news agency.
