If Armenia joins the European Union (EU), Russia will not be able to supply it with gas at the same cost, as the combined prices for such goods are many times higher. This was announced on May 28 by Russian Energy Minister Sergei Tsivilev.

"If they move from the Eurasian Economic Union to the EU, we will not be able to supply them at the price at which we supply now," TASS quoted him as saying.
