In Yalta, traffic opened on the bridge at the entrance to the city

In Yalta, on the night of May 28, they started working traffic on the bridge at the entrance to the city. The passage was fully opened in two lanes, said the head of the Ministry of Transport of Crimea Arseniy Kozlovsky.

The final stage of paving has already been completed at the facility, writes IA SevastopolMedia. It remains to lay only the top layer of asphalt pavement on a part of the road.

According to the minister, the final work on individual sections of the second lane, including the elimination of minor defects, roadside reinforcement and marking, will be completed after the end of the 2026 holiday season.

The department is mindful of the technical features of the overhaul and the need to ensure free movement of vehicles during the busiest periods.

Earlier it was reported that by 2030 in Russia the number of deaths in road accidents should be reduced by one and a half times, and by 2036 — by half. This is the main goal of the road safety improvement strategy approved by the head of state.
