In Ulan-Ude, by June 6, the decoration of seasonal flower beds and themed flower arrangements for the City Day will be completed. Work is underway in key public areas, said Mayor Igor Shutenkov at a meeting on Thursday, May 28.

The planting of annuals began from the central sites and will affect more than 9 thousand square meters. m. Contractors have already prepared flower beds: weeded, removed garbage, plowed the soil and applied soil with fertilizers.

Flowers will also be planted on 50th Anniversary of October Avenue, Komsomolskaya Square, along Stroiteley Avenue near the National Bank, on Smolina Street and at the sculpture "Hospitable Buryatia".

Flower beds, arches and a vertical flower wall are already being created on Sovetov Square. The inscription "360" will be placed on it for the holiday — in honor of the 360th anniversary of the republican capital. In addition, two modern mixborders will be installed here.

According to the information of IA UlanMedia, by June 15, additional perennial plants will be planted in the squares "Architect", "Temp", "60 years of Victory" and named after Lenin. The total area of the plantings will be more than 600 sq. m.
