A new support measure for young mothers appeared in Transbaikalia

A new measure of support for young mothers was approved in the Trans-Baikal Territory. It can be used after June 1, the head of the region, Alexander Osipov, said in his channel in the Maks messenger.

We are talking about housing subsidies of 1.6 million rubles for full families and 1.2 million rubles for incomplete ones. The decree states that women under the age of 25 can receive it at the birth of their first child.

Full-time college and university students, as well as government and municipal employees with at least 1 year of work experience, are eligible for payment.

According to the ChitaMedia news agency, money can only be spent on the purchase of housing in the territory of Transbaikalia. It is expected that over 550 people will be able to apply for state support in the next three years.

Earlier, Izvestia wrote that the purchasing power of the parent capital has halved in 10 years. In 2015, an average of about 9 square meters could be purchased for a certificate. m of housing in the primary market, whereas in 2025 — less than 4 sq. m.
