Roskachestvo explained the growing interest in employees without experience
Companies have recently become more willing to employ employees without work experience, Irina Shulzhenko, director of the Roskachestvo Organizational Development Department, told Izvestia on May 28. She explained that this trend is caused by changes in the labor market and a reassessment of values in the business environment.
"This is largely due to changes in the labor market itself. Businesses are increasingly realizing that having experience no longer guarantees flexibility, high motivation, or the ability to adapt quickly to changes. At the same time, young employees often learn new technologies more easily, integrate into the digital environment faster, and are motivated to learn within the company. Therefore, employers are increasingly betting not on an ideal resume, but on a person's potential," she said.
The specialist added that educational practices, internships, participation in research projects, case championships and volunteering now play an important role in the selection of candidates. For companies, these activities serve as an indicator of initiative and the ability to work in a team, which compensates for the lack of experience.
"In addition, it is becoming more profitable and interesting for companies to independently train specialists who already know and understand internal processes and corporate culture. Now the employer is interested not just in closing the vacancy, but in creating an environment in which new employees can quickly adapt, develop and stay in the company for a long time," the expert concluded.
On May 22, experts spoke about the impact of unemployment on the psyche and the labor market. The modern labor market has become more difficult even for highly qualified specialists. According to Anna Alikova, an independent HR expert, previously a strong candidate chose from several offers, but today dozens of the same professionals are applying for his place.
