Changan announced the price of the updated Uni-V liftback in Russia

Changan has revealed the prices of the updated Uni-V liftback for the Russian market, and the first cars have already begun to appear in car dealerships. The model is presented in a single Sport package at a price starting from 3.5 million rubles without special offers, the Izvestia correspondent reports from the presentation of the new product on May 28. The pre-reform liftback costs from 3.36 million rubles in the 2025 model year version.

The updated Changan Uni-V will be offered with a two-liter gasoline turbo engine with a cast-iron cylinder block with a capacity of 235 hp (390 Nm). The previous Uni-V was available only with a 181-horsepower 1.5 turbo engine. The engine is paired with an eight-speed hydro-mechanical Aisin automatic. Acceleration from zero to 100 km/h takes 6.3 seconds. The dimensions of the liftback are 4740 mm in length, 1838 mm in width and 1430 mm in height. The wheelbase is 2750 mm. Ground clearance is 152 mm. Thanks to the improved aerodynamics, the coefficient of air resistance was reduced from 0.34 to 0.27 Cx, the company noted.

The Uni-V has narrow LED optics and an active rear spoiler that automatically rises at high speeds, as well as forked pipes and a sports body kit. There is an adjustable flap in the exhaust system. The trunk volume is 456 liters (1000 liters with folded backs of the second row).

The liftback has received a driving mode called Super Race, when activated, the driver can display telemetry and acceleration time measurement on the screen. It is noted that the twin-scroll turbocharger provides an improved response to the accelerator pedal and allows you to accelerate the car faster to a maximum speed of 215 km/h. The Dynamic Thrust Vector Control (DTV) system and the front strut strut are designed to increase cornering stability. During the tests, the car passed the "moose test" at a speed of 78 km/ h, the same results were previously shown by BMW M4 G82 and Porsche Taycan Turbo S.

The list of equipment includes, among other things, 18-inch wheels, a panoramic roof, steering lobes, electric controls and ventilation of the front seats, heated all seats, two screens in the cabin (10 and 14.6 inches), an audio system with 10 speakers, support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging for a 50-watt smartphone, adaptive cruise-control and other assistants, an all-round view system, six airbags, an electric trunk lid and other options. The body panels are galvanized, including the roof.

Earlier, on May 21, Changan announced that it would launch a new Deepal S05 crossover on the Russian market. The model has been certified in the Russian Federation and has received Vehicle Type Approval (OTT). It is an all-electric four-wheel drive crossover with a twin-engine powerplant.
