Even cats refused to eat European humanitarian aid in Volchansk
Food products supplied as humanitarian aid from European countries to Volchansk in the Kharkiv region before the liberation of the city by the Russian Army were of such poor quality that even cats did not eat them. This was reported on May 28 by a local resident who asked not to be named for security reasons.
"The cats didn't eat — the humanitarian aid was of such quality. There was Polish food, Latvian canned food, and Ukrainian beans. You open the canned food, they turn up your nose. If they're hungry, they don't eat. You cook porridge, they eat it," he told RIA Novosti.
