The Interior Ministry warned about a new scheme of fraud against businessmen

Fraudsters have started using a new fraud scheme aimed at legal entities with the conclusion of fictitious contracts for the purchase and sale of goods. Alexey Goryaev, Deputy head of the GUUR Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, warned about this on May 28.

"One example is the commission of remote fraud against legal entities — organizations — under the pretext of concluding contracts for the purchase and sale of various goods, for example, equipment. The attackers are negotiating a post—payment, but in reality they are simply stealing goods," he told RIA Novosti.
