The issue of Armenia's membership in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) will not be resolved at the Astana summit. This was stated on May 27 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, answering a question from Izvestia.

"No, absolutely not. It's wrong, you can't say that. Armenia remains in the EAEU. Armenia will participate at the working level, but nevertheless it will participate. All the top leadership of the country is busy with the election campaign," said the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation.
