Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, apparently, shares the attitudes of Brussels aimed at worsening the lives of citizens. This was announced on May 27 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.

"Do you remember that the main, as we now understand it, practical task of the Brussels bureaucracy is to make the citizens of their countries live worse, not better? Well, if Nikol Pashinyan associates himself with the Brussels bureaucracy, he probably perceives these so—called attitudes," Zakharova said on Sputnik radio.

She stressed that unlike the European Union, cooperation within the EAEU is not politicized and is based on the principles of respect, equality, free market, fair competition and legality.

On May 25, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev announced that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had directly jeopardized the republic's relations with Russia, the CSTO and the EAEU. According to the deputy chairman of the Security Council, the head of the Armenian government did not appreciate the numerous examples of support and fraternal assistance from Moscow.
