Turkish airline Air Anka denied permission to fly to Russia
Turkish charter airline Air Anka is forced to cancel flights to and from Russia, as the carrier was denied permission to fly. This was reported to Izvestia on May 27 by a source close to the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation.
"She (the airline. — Ed.) started selling flights without coordination with our aviation authorities," the source explained.
The conditions for the possible return of the airline are not reported.
On May 5, Aeroflot postponed flights to Sheremetyevo, and also canceled some flights due to time constraints at the airport. It is noted that some of the flights that arrived at Sheremetyevo were redirected to alternate airfields.
