Sobyanin explained the impact of offset contracts on Moscow's economy
There are 36 offset contracts in Moscow. They have become an important tool for the development of the capital's economy, the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, noted on his Maks channel.
Offset contracts "allow the city to ensure stable supplies of in-demand products and stimulate the creation of modern production facilities," Sobyanin explained. According to the head of Moscow, the total investment volume for them will amount to 121.8 billion rubles, and more than 9 thousand jobs will be created.
Currently, Moscow has signed contracts for the supply of medicines and food for milk dispensaries. The city also receives landscaping elements, utility equipment and other important products through offsets, the mayor said.
In 2025 alone, the authorities signed eight such contracts, five of them related to the development of urban transport. In particular, contracts have been signed for the production of turnstile equipment, as well as ticket terminals and vending machines.
Thus, the offset contract for the supply of SAM modules for the payment transport infrastructure for all types of fare payments in Moscow transport will ensure the localization of products and increase the security of the ticket system, the mayor noted. Another agreement was reached in the production of innovative ticket terminals and vending machines, which will reduce passenger service time by more than half, Sobyanin explained.
Another contract has been signed for the supply of medicines for the treatment of endocrine and neurological diseases to city institutions. "A full production cycle using Russian pharmaceutical substances has been established," the head of the capital said.
