The cyclone that is currently over the Arkhangelsk region will bring bad weather on May 27, Bi-port news agency writes with reference to the Murmansk Hydrometeorological Center.
According to meteorologists, the temperature may drop to 0 degrees on Wednesday. There will be strong winds in some areas. Precipitation is expected in the form of sleet and rain.
In Murmansk, the daytime temperature will barely rise to +3 degrees. The heaviest precipitation in the form of wet snow is forecast in the afternoon.
More than 9 mm of precipitation may fall in the capital of the region per day.
Earlier, forecaster and meteorologist Alexander Shuvalov said that June is a transitional month between spring and the peak of summer, so both abnormal cold and extreme heat can be recorded in this month. At the same time, the average monthly temperature in June can vary greatly from year to year.
