Moskvich explained the decline in sales of new models
The decrease in sales of Moskvich M70 and Moskvich M90 cars in April compared to March is explained by the fact that demo cars were actively registered in March. At the same time, the number of registrations from individuals has more than doubled compared to March. This was stated in the press service of the Moskvich automobile plant, the Chinese Cars portal reports on its Telegram channel.
The company said that there is now a high demand for M-series cars with a two-liter engine, with demand exceeding the available supply.
Production of the M70 and M90 cars is proceeding according to schedule, the company said and noted that it expects further sales growth.
As reported on May 25, according to Autostat Info, in the first month of spring, the M70 crossover sold 71 copies, and the M90 — 49 copies. In April, 68 and 38 cars were registered, respectively.
The day before, the domestic Volga car brand announced prices for three new models. The C50 sedan will cost from 2.9 million rubles, the K40 crossover from 2.75 million rubles, and the K50 crossover from 4.2 million rubles. They should be available at dealers in June this year.
