The Russian universal ground-based robotic complexes (NRTC) of the Impulse model have a large payload capacity and can move a 122-mm howitzer D-30, the mass of which exceeds the mark of 3 tons. Rostec State Corporation (GC) told about this on May 27.

"The complexes have an impressive load capacity — they carry up to 500 kg in a 30-degree slide and carry up to a ton on a flat surface. They can also tow up to one and a half tons. Moreover, they are dragging a D-30 howitzer, which weighs more than 3 tons, as a tractor," their Telegram channel says.

Currently, the "Impulse" is widely used by military personnel of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the area of a special military operation (SVO). There, the development and a number of its varieties have demonstrated good efficiency. The products can operate autonomously, adhere to a set course and stand when hit by fragments of anti-personnel mines and tangential shots of automatic weapons.

The domestic NRTC is characterized by high cross—country capability, which is provided by a tracked chassis - it allows it to easily overcome bumps, as well as climb viscous climbs. Its range, as Rostec added, can also be increased by deploying unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of all types.

Two days earlier, it became known that Rostec Group specialists had developed the latest anti-aircraft artillery system (ZAC) called Citadel. It was clarified that his task is to destroy drones and protect stationary objects from them. These weapons were presented at the Live Arena in the Moscow region, where an international Security Forum is being held from May 26 to 29 under the auspices of the Security Council of the Russian Federation.
