The states of the European Union (EU) have completely lost their authority in world diplomacy. This opinion was voiced on May 27 by former Co-chairman of the International Peace Bureau Rainer Braun.

"Europe has taken itself out of the game because of its own political mistakes and aggressive behavior. Hardly anyone in the world takes the EU seriously today. Where does Europe decide anything now? It does not play a role in the situation around Iran. There is not a single conflict on this planet where Europe's opinion would be in demand. Europe is out of the game," he told RIA Novosti.

According to the expert, practicing diplomacy requires observing certain rules, the main of which are respect for the other side and the ability to hear.
