31 people were killed in a series of Israeli strikes on Lebanon, and 40 others were injured. This was reported on May 27 by Al Jazeera TV channel with reference to the Lebanese Ministry of Health.

"Recent attacks have claimed the lives of 31 people, including several women and children, and injured 40 others," the publication said.

It is reported that the victims were the result of a series of strikes on a number of towns and villages in the country. In Burj al-Shamali, 14 people were killed, including women and children, and 16 others were injured.

In Kutariyat al-Ruz, five people were killed, six were injured, and there are also children among the victims. Four people were killed and ten injured in Khabbush, while additional deaths and injuries were reported in Maarak and Selaa.

The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced on April 25 that the IDF had ordered strikes against Hezbollah targets in Lebanon. This decision was made in connection with the firing of rockets and drones (UAVs) into the territories of northern Israel, as well as troops stationed in southern Lebanon.

In addition, on the same day, the Lebanese Rapid Response Center under the Ministry of Health reported that shelling by the Israeli army in southern Lebanon resulted in the deaths of three local residents.
