Nebenzia criticized the UN Secretary General for his reaction to the terrorist attack in Starobilsk

The reaction of the United Nations (UN) Secretary General Antonio Guterres to the Ukrainian attack on the college in Starobilsk shows its lack of selectivity from a political point of view. This was stated on May 26 by the permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN Vasily Nebenzya.

"Why does the UN Secretary General learn to speak harshly when it comes to the situation in Ukraine, but suddenly hides behind phrases like "we don't have access" when it comes to attacks on Russian territory, including civilian targets? This approach is clearly selective from a political point of view," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

According to the diplomat, this approach undermines the credibility of the international organization.
