Businessman Alexander Galitsky left Russia on a Dutch passport after a court decision to seize his property worth 8 billion rubles. This was reported to Izvestia in court on May 26.

Earlier, the court recognized the lawful seizure of Galitsky's property. Prior to that, non-residential buildings in the village of Obushkovo in the Moscow region, a plot of more than 3.8 thousand square meters, a residential building in Istra and an apartment in the center of the capital with an area of 193.3 square meters were converted into state income.

On March 23, the court, at the request of the Prosecutor General's Office, recognized the extremist activities of investor Alexander Galitsky and his Almaz Capital Partners corporation. On the same day, the assets of the entrepreneur in the amount of 8 billion rubles were withdrawn to the state revenue.

Izvestia previously reported that Galitsky's venture fund was involved in major projects to support the Ukrainian economy, and a series of grants were allocated to Ukrainian companies after the start of its work.
