In the Pskov region, 118 children's health camps have received certificates of readiness to receive children. Elena Priputenko, head of the regional department of Rospotrebnadzor, told the Pskov news feed about this.

According to her, control over the preparation of children's camps has been strengthened this year: absolutely all camps must undergo inspections by Rospotrebnadzor, the Ministry of Emergency Situations and other supervisory authorities. Thus, 118 organizations have passed sanitary and epidemiological inspections and received the corresponding positive conclusions.

Much attention is paid to checking the quality of water and food, as well as the state of the infrastructure. All employees who deal with food are examined. In addition, treatments are carried out against ticks and rodents. As of May 26, 68% of the planned work has been completed.

The authorities and the Ministry of Education pay special attention to anti-terrorist security and the organization of children's arrival at the camp, Priputenko noted. The staff is being trained in emergency situations.

On April 20, Sergey Rybalchenko, chairman of the Commission of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation on demography, protection of family, children and traditional family values, said that the children's tourist cashback program, which operated in Russia in 2021-2022, should be returned as a sought-after measure to support families. In addition, it is necessary to introduce discounted family tickets for trips around the country.
