In Ulan-Ude, a woman suffered due to fraud when buying a car. The damage amounted to 790 thousand rubles.

According to the victim, she saw an ad for the sale of a car and clicked on a link to one of the messengers, where she joined a thematic community. The "seller" contacted her, who told her about the terms of the deal, after which the woman transferred 150 thousand rubles to an outside account as an advance payment. This is reported by IA UlanMedia.

In the future, the scammers offered the woman to pay for the delivery, booking and "additional costs." In two weeks, the victim transferred 790 thousand rubles.

In Murmansk, a pensioner lost 1.6 million rubles while trying to buy a car. The cost of the car was allegedly 2.6 million rubles. The man did not manage to transfer the entire amount, as the next payment was stopped by the bank's security service.
