The water level has risen in the Urkan River in the north of the Amur region after heavy rainfall. The deterioration of the hydrological situation is observed in the village of Ivanovka.

As of the morning of May 26, the water level reached 613 cm. Flooding was recorded at the entrance to the settlement. In some places, the water depth on the road reaches 43 cm. This is reported by PriamurMedia news agency.

The length of the flood zones ranges from 100 to 600 m. Drivers are asked to refrain from driving. Emergency hydraulic posts have been set up to monitor the situation.

On May 25, heavy precipitation occurred in the north of the Amur region. Wet snow was observed in some places.
