Winners of the "space" Russian-Chinese case championship are named

The teams of "Juno Coins", "NII-88" and "Fantastic Four" became the winners of the first federal Russian-Chinese case championship "VTB Business Solutions Laboratory. Peaceful space of the future". This was reported in the press service of the bank.

The winners will travel to the Vostochny Cosmodrome, visit Heihe University in China, and be selected for an internship at VTB. The winning team will participate in the All-Russian conference for talented students "Management of the Future", organized by the St. Petersburg State University Graduate School of Management.

According to the bank, the competition became "a unique model of international design, where students developed solutions to systemic problems of the space environment and related technologies." The finalists of the championship presented new types of personnel training models for working in global high-tech environments, as well as a system of "supercomputations of the future" for the Russian-Chinese partnership.

According to Olga Dergunova, Senior Vice President of VTB, head of VTB Education, Director of the St. Petersburg State University Graduate School of Management, the championship demonstrated that students "have high potential for effective interaction in a global environment, are ready to take into account the cultural, regulatory and technological characteristics of partners." Such competencies "enable young people to adapt to global challenges and actively design sustainable solutions for the future," she added.

As part of the case championship, students worked in a format that simulated Russian-Chinese interaction, taking into account differences in engineering schools, regulatory requirements, and management cultures. 655 teams from 191 Russian universities participated in the competition, and in total, a record number of applications were submitted for the case championship - more than 2 thousand. The final defense of the projects was held in Blagoveshchensk with the support of the Government of the Amur Region and the Federal Center for Russian-Chinese Cooperation.
