The FSB discovered a Ukrainian cache of foreign weapons near Krasnoarmeysk

Employees of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) directorate for the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), together with the military counterintelligence agencies of the Pacific Fleet, discovered a booby-trapped cache of foreign weapons near Krasnoarmeysk. This was reported on May 24 in the regional directorate of the special service.

"As a result of joint operational and combat activities of the FSB of Russia in the Donetsk People's Republic and the military counterintelligence agencies of the Pacific Fleet, a booby-trapped cache of foreign weapons was discovered near Krasnoarmeysk," the report says.

According to the agency, the cache was left by the Ukrainian troops during the retreat. It was assumed that the planted weapons would be used in the future to carry out acts of sabotage and terrorism.

During the inspection of the mined facility, they seized Javelin and NLaw anti-tank grenade launchers, three Swedish AT4 grenade launchers, a Spanish C90-CR-RR and a Czechoslovak RPG-75M. There were also three more anti-tank grenade launchers manufactured by NATO countries, two high-explosive HE120C mines and 10 hand grenades in the cache.

In December last year, the Russian Guard revealed a cache of weapons manufactured by Sweden and Germany in the Luhansk People's Republic (LNR), which contained a Swedish AT-4 grenade launcher and a German MG-42 machine gun. It was noted that the weapons and ammunition were seized and handed over to the internal affairs bodies for further investigation.
