The updated Valdai 45 Pro mainline tractor was presented at Comvex-2026, an Izvestia correspondent reported from the scene on May 26.

The car, manufactured in the Nizhny Novgorod region, received a 490-horsepower diesel engine (previously 470 hp) combined with a 12-speed robotic transmission.

In addition to increased power, the tractor received emergency braking systems, assistance when starting on an ascent, lane monitoring, tire pressure and driver's condition, as well as all-round view cameras.

The Valdai 45 Pro features a new radiator grille, fully LED optics, and a digital instrument panel. In addition, the volume of fuel tanks has been increased from 840 to 1050 liters.

As previously told by representatives of the distributor company Modern Transport Technologies, the Valdai 45 Pro was the result of a deep technical reworking of the first version of the car, taking into account the requests of Russian carriers. The production of new products is carried out in full cycle mode, including welding, painting and assembly. The cabins receive enhanced factory insulation, improved noise insulation and anti-corrosion treatment.

Also at the Comvex exhibition, the Belarusian automobile plant MAZ showed a new line of Targo trucks, and the premiere of the off-road version of the GAZ Sobol minibus took place. In addition, GAZ Group presented a promising modular low-tonnage platform for light commercial vehicles (LCVs), and Russian truck manufacturer Romanov JSC (BAZ brand) announced the expansion of its line of equipment.
