MAZ showed a new line of Targo trucks in Moscow
At the Comvex 2026 exhibition in Moscow, the Belarusian automobile plant MAZ showed a new line of medium-tonnage Targo trucks, a correspondent of Izvestia reports from the scene on May 26.
The Targo 8 model with a gross weight of 8 tons and a load capacity of 3.65 tons is equipped with a 151-horsepower diesel engine. A 162-horsepower turbodiesel is installed under the cabin of the Targo 10 model (gross weight 10 tons, load capacity 5.7 tons).

The Eight is equipped with a six-speed manual transmission. The larger model has a six-speed robotic transmission.
The MAZ Targo is based on the Chinese Weicai truck. Production of both models has been launched at the Minsk plant using the large-scale assembly method.
Earlier in the day, it was reported that AvtoVAZ's SKM brand line will soon be replenished with the new M9 model. It is planned to be produced at production sites in Nizhny Novgorod and Tolyatti. The model will be presented in four versions: a seven- and eight-seater minivan, a nine-seater minibus and a van.
