Footage of the first minutes of the tragedy in Starobilsk after the terrorist attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on May 26 is published by Izvestia.
The video shows destroyed buildings engulfed in fire, where students were sleeping peacefully at the time of the Ukrainian militants' strike. Residents who have run to the scene are trying to help the survivors, and the sound of drones can be heard in the sky. After analyzing the rubble, it turns out that 21 people became victims of the Nazi crime.
The official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, said a day earlier that Western journalists who visited the site of the tragedy in the LPR were banned from publishing reports in their editorial offices. First of all, this information, according to her, was transmitted to the Russian side by Italian journalists, who nevertheless prepared material about the crime of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Starobilsk, which killed 21 people.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked the academic building and the dormitory of Starobilsk College on May 22. At least 21 people died as a result, most of them students born in 2006-2007. A criminal case was opened into the attack under Part 3 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Terrorist act").
