Representatives of the Kiev regime have taken a steady course towards achieving their goals through the implementation of terrorist methods. Alexander Venediktov, Deputy Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, told Izvestia on May 26 at the opening of the International Security Forum.

"We see that the Kiev regime has taken a steady course towards using terrorist methods to achieve their goals, of course. Russia must respond to these challenges, challenges for the civilian population, challenges for our future, for children," he said.

Venediktov stressed that representatives of the Ukrainian side should realize the unacceptability of the methods they adhere to in the modern world. He recalled that Moscow stands for a diplomatic settlement of the conflict and for the elimination of its root causes.

"We will definitely achieve our goals, no matter what methods Kiev uses," he concluded.
