As a result of attacks by militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on Russian regions over the past week, more than 50 people were killed, including one child, and almost 200 more were injured. This was announced on May 26 by the Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) Rodion Miroshnik.

"Over the past week, 51 people, including one minor, were killed by the shelling of the Ukrainian Nazis," he said in an interview with TASS.

In addition, 199 people were injured, including 20 children. The wounded, according to the agency's interlocutor, were mainly recorded in the Lugansk and Donetsk People's Republics, as well as in the Zaporizhia and Belgorod regions.

At the same time, 91% (228 people) Of the total number of victims, he was injured due to the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Maria Zakharova, reported on May 21 that Kiev expressed undisguised joy at the attacks carried out by its military on the civilian population and social facilities in Russia.
