The "Volunteer of the Year" nomination is in the lead at the national track with 16,779 applications. This is almost 7 thousand more than last year. The Mentor of the Year also has a high result – 5,651 applications. Among the regions, Moscow (2,372), the Moscow Region (1,573), the Krasnodar Territory (1,563), the Krasnoyarsk Territory (1,329) and the Republic of Tatarstan (1,287) are the leaders in the number of applications. Applications have already been received from 135 countries on the international track. Most of them are from Nigeria, India, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Morocco, Kenya, Cameroon, Algeria and Bangladesh. The most represented African region is Nigeria, Kenya, Cameroon, Algeria, Morocco, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Ghana and other countries. Asia is also actively involved – India, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Indonesia, the Philippines and others.

Volunteers and mentors, teams of individuals and NGOs, large businesses and SMEs, as well as regions and cities developing volunteerism can participate in the award. The competition is held in 12 nominations.

First of all, it is the introduction of a special nomination "The Power of Unity", dedicated to the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia. The sixth season of the Award is timed to coincide with the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia and the International Year of Volunteers, announced by the United Nations. The award ceremony will take place in December 2026 in Moscow as part of the International Forum of Civic Engagement #MYPLACE.
