The Russian Ambassador named a possible area of cooperation between Russia and New Zealand

Antarctica could become a topic for cooperation between the Russian Federation and New Zealand. This was announced on May 26 by Russian Ambassador to Wellington Stanislav Krans.

"Unfortunately, Russia and New Zealand often have very different positions, because we have our own understanding of how things should be arranged in the region, and they have their own. But in my understanding, Antarctica could again become a definite topic for cooperation in the future. This is a question for the New Zealanders again.",— he told RIA Novosti.
