An earthquake of magnitude 5.1 was recorded off the southeastern coast of Kamchatka. Data on this was presented on May 25 on the website of the Kamchatka branch of the Unified Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

The tremor was registered on May 25 at 23:31 local time (02:31 Moscow time). The source was located at a depth of 53 km.

"Magnitude (Ml): 5.1," the seismologists informed.
